How to Make Your Own Burdock Root Oil

Ingredients
For this recipe, you a few sticks of dried or fresh burdock root, olive oil, and a sterile glass jar like this one.

Directions

Step 1
Scrub off the dirt on the dried burdock root, then chop it into little pieces. Place the chopped pieces into the glass jar.

Step 2
Fill up the jar with olive oil. The exact measurements depend on how big the glass jar is. Close the jar and place it in a dark cabinet.

Step 3
Let the mixture infuse for up to 6 weeks while the goodness sips out of the burdock roots. Open up the jar every week to release the air bubbles that build up inside and give the jar a shake.

Step 4
After 6 weeks, strain the mix through a cheesecloth and discard the roots. Pour the burdock root oil into a dark bottle like this one and store it in a cool area.

Pecan trees (Carya illinoinensis) in Kashmir

Pecan trees Kashmir
Pecan trees (Carya illinoinensis) are large deciduous trees that can
grow to be 70–100 feet tall and 6 feet in trunk diameter.
They are native to the eastern  and central United States,
south, and Mexico.

Pecan trees are members of the walnut family (Juglandaceae).
They have deeply furrowed bark, compound leaves with 9–17
finely toothed leaflets, and a broad canopy of lush green leaves.

Pecan trees grow best in both warmer & temperate climates,
particularly in Jammu and Kashmir, Uttrakhand,
Himachal pardesh and North-East states

They like a lot of water, with young trees needing 10 to
15 gallons of water per week.

Starting with a seedling has much better odds than starting
with your own seed, but this is only a good idea
if you're gifted in grafting. After grafting,
you could have pecans within 4-6 years.

Seed banks in india

The Jammu and Kashmir Medicinal Plants Introduction Center is constructing a special depot at Glacier Cave in Pahalgam to preserve the seeds of all crops around the world.
Seed Banks in India

The thousands of seeds stored on this glacier will be used by the bank in the event of a  catastrophic disaster or nuclear war in the world and crop damage.

The cave was built to protect the seeds stored in the event of a nuclear war  or natural disaster.

The Jammu and Kashmir Medicinal Plants Introduction Center will set up an  observatory in a cave on this glacier gene to create a 'seed bank'.

In this regard,  the Jammu and Kashmir Medical Plants Introduction Center has also decided to send a proposal to the Government of Jammu and Kashmir.

Sheikh Gulzar

Sheikh Gulzar
, a volunteer at the institute, said the seeds of all the world's crops would be kept in the cave.

Sheikh Gulzar said that there are 1,400 such seed banks in the world at present but they are all located in places where there is either political instability or in places where there is a risk of natural disasters

The temperature of the plugs will help keep these seeds safe. The walls of the bank will be made of lightweight concrete and its doors will be made of special iron sheets.

Availability of planting material, tree saplings, herb seed, flower seeds, fruit plants, creepers & climbers, medicinal herbs, herbal roots, crude drugs, bulbs, tree barkherbal tea, corms, rhizomes, stem tubers
