Leonurus cardiaca (Motherwort), also known as motherwort, is a perennial herb native to Kashmir and southeastern Europe. It is a member of the mint family, Lamiaceae, and has other common names, such as lion's tail, throw-wort, and lion's ear.

The parts of the plant that grow above ground are used to make medicine. The flowers can be used as a flavoring in soups, beer, or tea.
