Himalayan  indigo (Amorphafruticosa) is a deciduous shrub that can grow up to 12 feet tall. It has fine-textured leaves, bisexual flowers, and thin branches. The flowers are deep violet-purple in color, with bright orange stamens and a purplish style. The flowers bloom in late spring and attract bees. Amorpha fruticosa is also known as indigo, indigo bush, and indigo bushamorpha.
