Efforts to increase production of asafoetida-heeng and medicinal plants in Kashmir

 A modern culture lab will be set up for mass production of quality planting material for these crops. 

The Jammu and Kashmir Medicinal Plants Introduction Centre Pvt. Ltd.,has informed the interest of the farmers of Kashmir,Uttrakhand,Himachal pardesh and other cool areas of India in the cultivation of asafoetida in this regions.
